Business of the Year (1-10 Employees)

Description

The Business of the Year Award honours a business that demonstrates continual business excellence through positive business growth; exemplifies superior customer service; and embraces an outstanding commitment to quality.

Entry Deadline: 11:59pm, February 1, 2027

Requirements

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Nominee must be an active business located in, or operating in, the Greater Victoria Region
2. Nominee may not have more than the equivalent of 10 full-time employees
3. Nominee does not have to be a member to be nominated, but must be a member to move on in judging
4. Chamber Staff and businesses of their immediate family, the category sponsor's business and current Chamber Board members and their businesses are not eligible to be nominated for this award
5. 2026 winners (in any category) must take a year off, and are not eligible for nomination in 2027. Finalists from 2026 are free to re-submit nominations in 2027.
6. Finalists may receive only one award. If a business/person is a finalist for more than one award, the submission will stand for the award where the judging panel deems the business/person is strongest.
7. Award applications must be for one business only. Group applications are not eligible.

Finalists will be announced after the judging period and invited to attend the 2027 Greater Victoria Chamber Business Awards on May 27, 2027 where the winner will be announced.

Finalists will be contacted and filmed for a short video that will be presented at the 2027 Greater Victoria Chamber Business Awards.
